Refund and Returns Policy

At Meghdoot.shop, we prioritize your satisfaction. Our return and refund policy is designed to provide clarity and fairness for both customers and our company. Please read the details below before making a return or refund request.

1. Compensation for Product Issues

  • If you receive a product with any issue (such as minor defects, damage in transit, or other concerns), we will offer compensation in the form of a partial refund or store credit.
  • Please contact us with clear photos and an explanation of the issue within 3 days of delivery.
  • Compensation amount will be determined based on the nature and severity of the problem.

2. Conditions for Returning Products

  • Returns are only accepted in cases where the product is very badly damaged and not wearable or unusable.
  • If you believe your product meets this condition, please email our support team at returns@meghdoot.shop within 3 days of delivery, including:
    • Photos clearly showing the damage
    • Your order number
    • A short description of the damage
    • Your UPI QR code (see Refund Process below)
  • Products that do not meet this condition may be eligible for compensation, but not for a return.
  • Returned products must be unused beyond reasonable inspection, with all original tags, packaging, and accessories included (unless not possible due to damage).

3. Non-Eligible Returns

  • Returns will not be accepted for issues caused by normal use, accidental damage after delivery, or subjective reasons such as dislike of color or fit.
  • Returns are not accepted on sale/clearance items unless the product arrives severely damaged and unwearable.

4. Refund Process

  • All refunds will be processed via UPI to the UPI ID QR code uploaded or shared by the customer in the return request.
  • Please ensure you provide a valid UPI QR code when submitting your return or compensation claim.
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7 business days of return approval or confirmation of compensation.

5. Steps to Request a Return or Compensation

  1. Email returns@meghdoot.shop within 3 days of delivery.
  2. Attach clear photographs showing the product’s condition and, if returning, why it is unwearable.
  3. Attach or paste your UPI QR code (for receiving any refund).
  4. Explain the issue/reason for request.
  5. Our team will review your case and respond with the next steps within 2 business days.

6. Return Shipping

  • If a return is approved, we will provide return shipping instructions.
  • In most approved return cases, Meghdoot.shop will bear or reimburse reasonable shipping costs. Please keep your shipping receipt as proof.

7. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with the new effective date.

Key Requirements for Returns and Refunds

A parcel opening (unboxing) video is absolutely mandatory for any returns or refund claims.

Why is This Required?

  • This protects both buyers and sellers from potential fraud, disputes, and confusion.
  • The unboxing video is needed to clearly show the condition of your parcel and product at the time of delivery.
  • No claim for refund, exchange, or return will be accepted without a proper, unedited parcel opening video.

What Should Your Parcel Opening Video Show?

  1. Start from the sealed parcel:
    • The video should begin before opening, with the package still fully sealed and unopened.
  2. Show the shipping label and all sides of the parcel
    • Clearly display the address label and all corners/sides of the box or package before breaking the seal.
  3. Open the parcel in a single, unedited video
    • No cuts, pauses, or edits.
    • If there is damage, missing item, or wrong product, show this issue clearly in the same video.
  4. Thoroughly check and display the product
    • Confirm if the item is damaged, not wearable, or different from what you ordered.
